| Description |
English: St Botolph's church - font canopy detail. St Botolph's church > 1075202 dates from the 15th century but was restored in Victorian times > 315532. The benches and chancel stalls are 19th century but a few medieval misericords have been retained. The church is one of only four in England which house a magnificently carved early 16th century font canopy > 315535. Other medieval survivals are the rood screen > 1075206 depicting 11 disciples and St Paul (their faces were scratched out during the reformation), and a rare consecration cross.
