Summary
[edit]DescriptionSt Austin's Presbytery - geograph.org.uk - 1220307.jpg |
English: St Austin's Presbytery. St Austin's Presbytery, No 6 Wentworth Terrace, was formerly 2 town houses. Overcrowing in the church inspired brief plans to build a new St Austin's. However, these plans proved impractical, and instead the two houses to the west of St Austin's were purchased and converted into the Presbytery between 1868-69.
The grade II listed building, circa 1800, in red brick, is a 3 storey, 4 bay building with an off-centre door-way, due to the conversion.See 1220295 |
