Summary
[edit]DescriptionSt Andrew's church - geograph.org.uk - 1723988.jpg |
English: St Andrew's church. This is a view of the church taken from the public footpath which turns off Gull Lane, further to the south-east. St Andrew's church was completely rebuilt in 1859 by the architect Robert Kerr and it is one of the finest 19th century churches in East Anglia. It stands on the site of a round-tower church which had fallen into ruin. With the exception of the minaret-like tower which is offset on the north and built of stone, the building material used was flint. |
