Summary

[edit]
Description
English: St Andrew's Quay, Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England.
Looking east-northeast along the Humber Bank towards the disused Sea Fish Industry Authority building at the entrance to St Andrew's Dock. The huge fish dock was open from 1873 to 1975 and was for many years the busiest of all Hull's docks. The western half of the dock has been filled in and redeveloped as St. Andrew's Quay Retail Park and the path along the quayside is now part of the Trans Pennine Trail, http://www.transpenninetrail.org.uk/ a 215 mile long recreational route from Southport to Hornsea which officially opened in September 2001. On the distant horizon are the cooling towers at the Salt End chemical works. 294000
