English: St Andrew's Church - tomb recess in the north transept - gravestone The Visitor's Guide to St Andrew's Parish Church says that this gravestone is that of Robert de Morvill, a Corbridge vicar who dedicated the south transept to Thomas a Becket in remorse for a relative being one of the four knights who murdered the archbishop. The slab bears a shepherd's crook. |
