Description
Deutsch: Sogenannter Jodokusschrein in der ehemaligen Klosterkirche in Reinhausen, Gemeinde Gleichen, Südniedersachsen. Datiert 1507, dem Hildesheimer Epiphaniasmeister zugeschrieben. Ehemals Mittelschrein eines Altars, dann in einer Kanzelaltarwand über der Kanzel eingelassen, heute selbständig an der Ostseite des nördlichen Seitenschiffes der Kirche. Abgebildet sind links St. Bartholomäus, rechts St. Blasius. Die mittlere Figur zeigt St. Jodocus oder St. Jakobus den Älteren, im Heiligenschein wird sie als SANCTVS IODOCVS bezeichnet, H. W. Mithoff gibt eine Bezeichnung S. JAKOB. MAJ. an, die Pilgerausstattung und die Jakobsmuschel auf dem Pilgerhut können auf beide Heilige hindeuten.
