English: The Cathedral Church of St. Peter is the first church in Abeokuta
likewise in Nigeria, this church located in Ake, Abeokuta, Ogun State. It was built by Reverend Andre Desalu Wilhelm. The church w serve as the meeting place for all the missionaries that brought Christian religion to Nigeria. The church is old but still maintained it's strong and beauty. Though, new one has been built beside it to accommodate more congregation but the old one is still standing tall for over eight decades.
