The girls drank their tea enthusiastically,pronouncing it the best they had ever tasted,and doing full justice to the cunning little cakesand candies that popped into view in somemysterious way; and they all agreed, as theytrooped happily home that evening, that theyhad enjoyed themselves immensely, and thatKatharines Tea-party was a decided success.
