| Description | A photo of how some people imagine Switzerland to be. Except the missing cows. And this on Ascension Day, when everyone runs to where the press writes that it would be most beautiful. But the idyll is deceptive. Under this road there are four large <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/kecko/19913780206/">ammunition dumps</a> from the end of the Second World War. They belong to the artillery fortress Furggels which was taken out of service around the turn of the millennium. The associated <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/kecko/5330642332/">bunker guns</a> 15 cm are 70 m meters to the left and 55 m below. A little further down there is a stand-alone bunker. It was designed to protect the four guns. I documented that <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/kecko/7202575520/">bunker</a> in 2012, but I wanted to see what happens there.
