Summary

[edit]
Description The 1B88 1712 Cardiff Central to Swansea - formed of a pair of Class 150 DMUs, is seen passing the village of St. Georges, just to the west of Cardiff. I'm fairly sure that this was an additional service to compensate for the cancellation of most First Great Western trains between Cardiff and Swansea due to industrial action. Arriva Trains Wales provided a number of additional trains throughout the day, and this one provided a connection at Cardiff with the 1443 arrival from Paddington.
