Description

Raw plan of St. Georgenberg monastery, situation in 2007, based on *Tiris Map of St. Georgenberg (where unfortunately the two churches are misnamed, as by 20070913):
Turquoise='Aiblinger Stock' - Convent established as soon as ca. 1204, repaired mainly in 1733-35, last in 1842-1845. Now also retreat area for guests.
Blue=St. George's and James' church and tower.
Purple='Lindenkirche', St. Mary an Holy Trinity, ca. 1212-1242, last in 1882.
Pink=Open chapel (20th c.), used for liturgy in open air when main church is too small for the crowd.
Brown='Säbener Stock', now guests' (tourists') aera, gastronomy.
Light Brown=outhouse.
Dark Brown='Hohe Brücke' (the High Bridge).
Green=Road from Fiecht
Black=Garage for two 4WD cars


Grey=Ways to Stans (the southern one is along the Wolfsklamm).
