English: Church of England parish church of St George the Martyr, Wash Common, Newbury, Berkshire. It was designed by FC Eden FSA FRIBA, an authority on Italian art and architecture. The main part was built in 1933 but the west end was not added until 1964. The only other church in Britain designed by the same architect is St John's, Harpenden, Hertfordshire |
