Summary

[edit]
Description
English: St. Edmund; the parish church of Abbess Roding This attractive village church stands by Abbess Hall in the centre of the village. The nave is 14th century and the chancel is 15th century. The tower was built in 1867, at the time when the church had major restoration, and a new east window as seen in the picture. Inside there is a very interesting square Norman font, dated late 12th century.
