Summary

[edit]
Description
English: St. Clement's camp for prisoners of war, Fort Verdala, Cospicua, Malta. Marked "49".

To the top left of picture, behind the armed guard, there is a driveway leading down to an entrance gate.

In this picture, it looks as if a small group of PoWs or internees has just arrived and is being processed at the tables by the bushes, before they are allowed through the wooden gates into the camp behind the wire. (Caption by Chris Jenkins)
