Deutsch: Tübingen. St. Johannes Evangelist, Innenansicht. Die St. Johannes Kirche ist die römisch-katholische Stadtpfarrkirche in Tübingen. Die Durchführung des Baues von 1875 bis 1878 erfolgte durch den königlich-württembergischen Hofbaumeister Josef von Egle im Stile der Neugotik. Die Kirche erinnert an die Architektur der Bettelordenskirchen des Mittelmeerraumes und wurde von Bischof Karl Joseph von Hefele am 28. Nov. 1878 eingeweiht. Die Chorfenstster wurden in den 1960er Jahren von Wilhelm Geyer gestaltet. |
