Deutsch: Zentrales Doppelstandbild der gemeinsam regierenden brandenburgischen Markgrafen Johann I. (1213–1266) und Otto III. (ca. 1215–1267), genannt "die Städtegründer", aus der Denkmalgruppe 5 der ehemaligen Berliner Siegesallee. Die Brüder betrachten den Stadtplan der von ihnen mit Stadtrecht bewidmeten Doppelstadt Berlin-Cölln. Bildhauer: Max Baumbach, Enthüllung 22. März 1900. Otto auf der linken, Johann sitzend auf der rechten Seite. Hier in der Zitadelle Spandau im November 2009, vor der Restaurierung des Standbilds. |
