English: A 5-second sample of a 440 Hz square wave. Generated in Audacity at 132000 Hz. Note that the sample rate was chosen to be divisible by 11 for accuracy of reproduction and to avoid any "parasitic" frequencies due to non-divisibility between the frequency and the sample rate (aliasing). |
