Summary

[edit]
Description
English: 12 March 2012. Spectacular pile of dumping in Lawrence Road N15.

Zena Brabazon reported this pile of dumped rubbish. Our friend Lauren Windham took the photos - which are posted here with her permission.

Zena and Lauren spoke to a man who works at Studio 28 in Lawrence Road. He told them he'd reported the dumping to Veolia,

Studio 28 is a successful private sector initiative with dozens of creative businesses. If Haringey Regeneration Service wanted to be less of a bad joke, and seriously wants to support the cultural industries it would effectively tackle these problems. Instead of pursuing the pointless absurdity of a Cultural Quarter at Tottenham Green.

I went past Lawrence Road at around 8.30pm, Sunday night 11 March. The hotspot by the tree was quite spectacular - mattress, furniture, loads of bags. I hope your staff can get to it before Veolia do on the off chance that you might find something in the bags.

My friend had her camera so took some pictures which will be wending their way even if only to enhance and adorn Alan's Flickr pages.

I hope you can catch the culprits.
