English: Sprint finish While a race at Spey 2007 is mostly in the forest, with the route up to the competitor, the last 100m is a marked sprint. Here is a fast finish, downhill, across fields near Balavil House.
The finish sprint is very popular with many orienteers. Getting overtaken , even by someone on a different course is not popular, so many of us really give it something. |
