Description
English: Springhead Pumping Station, Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England.
Cornish beam pumping engine.
90" engine by Bells Lightfoot, of Newcastle-on-Tyne. Built 1876. Stopped 1952 and preserved in situ. For a time this was the Yorkshire Water Museum but it was closed some years ago and this section of the building is deteriorating.
