Summary

Description

Each year, around TED time, the apricot trees and wild mustard bloom in a fractal explosion of color.

So I had to take a hike through them today.

Apricot orchards like this used to canvas the landscape before the silicon came to Silicon Valley. These particular ones surround David Packard's home.

I had lunch with Bill and Dave on my first day of work at HP.

Gestures like that leave a lasting impression.
