English: Spring Lambs Cloneen, Athleague, Co. Roscommon. Sheep with their lambs in March 2009. This is limestone country. Flooding of the Suck River (a tributary of the Shannon) is a problem for farmers. The body of water in the background is a turlough, a seasonal lough in the adjoining townland of Ballinturley. |
