INDUSTRY. Industry—Berries of largest size, excellent flavor, pleasant and rich; dark red color when fully ripe. Strong, upright grower; an immense cropper, less subject to mildew than most of the foreign varieties. The best known and most successful English sort. Lancashire Lad—One of the largest and best of the English varieties. Fruit smooth, bright red, extra size; fine quality. One of the best dessert berries. Bush strong grower and productive. Whitesmith—Large,roundish oval; yellowish white, slightly downy; of first quality. CHAUTAUQUA. Chautauqua—Combines size, beauty and quality with vigorous growth and productiveness. Fruit large, light yellow, free from spines and hairs; averaging 1 inch to 1*4 inches in diameter. Thick skinned, sweet and of exquisite flavor. 1 year, 25c; 2 years, 40c.
