JOHN A. SALZER SEED CO.'S CATALOGUE OF PLANTS AND SEEDS, LA CROSSE. WIS. 114 THE GREATEST SPRING WHEAT IN THE WORLD.
Text Appearing After Image:
Common Wheat* . This variety of Spring Wheat is the result of long and careTul experimenting, obtained through cross^ ing and careful selection. We consider it the most prolific, heaviest-stooling, strongest-growing variety of Spring Wheat with which we are acc^uainted. The ear is very long and filled up to the point with fine, plump, reddish kernels that grade in all Wheat centres as No. 1 Northern. It is a great milling Wheat! and produces more of the choicest flour to the bushel than any Wheat we know of, and this point alone will make It, when once introduced, the greatest milling Wheat in the world. We believe it will corapletelv revolutionize Wheat growing—that is, in yields. ^lupicuciy TAKE WISCONSIN. Its 1,01^,579 acres yielded 12.346,030 bushels of Wheat.
