FLOWER SEEDS. 33 ASTERS. The most popular and useful of all our annuals. For early flowers the seed may be 60wn in the house, or greenhouse, in March or April, and transplanted in the open ground in May. However, as the Aster is essentially a Fall flower, and the late blossoms are the finest,-it is best to sow the seed in the bed thinly early in May, and transplant when strong enough, setting the plants of the large varieties twelve inches apart and the dwarf ones six inches apart. Half- hardy annuals.
