English: Nichole Hannon, a native of Pasadena, Md., and the wife of 1st Lt. Brad Hannon, a soldier of the 92nd Engineer Battalion “Black Diamonds”, attached to the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, swings across monkey-bars as she navigates the obstacle course here Nov. 29. This was part of an all day “Spouses Boot Camp” that the Black Diamonds hosted designed to bring the soldiers’ spouses together to meet and bond through friendly competition before the battalion’s up coming deployment to Afghanistan. Hannon won first place, as she scored the highest out of all the rest of the Black Diamond spouses. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. Richard Wrigley, 2nd BCT, 3rd Inf. Division Public Affairs) |
