| Description | This is my rather playworn Spot-On Daimler SP250. I have always found the styling of these to be very odd - the front of this looks very creepy and I wouldn't want to be caught in front of one of these moving (apart from being worried about being hit!). Obviously it was a huge, radical surprise from Daimler, who were known for their luxury saloons rather than sports cars that would scare little kids and give them nightmares. Bit of useful/useless info here: these were originally called the Dart, but Daimler quickly renamed it when Dodge threatened legal action due to them already making a car called the Dart themselves. This originally belonged to my father, who didn't really care for some of his cars like I do. This is in safe hands now! |
