Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Spirit of Skye The Spirit of Skye is seen here approaching Dochgarroch, at the northern end of its 'Loch Ness Express' service from Fort Augustus.

She is powered by twin jet drives and has been built to cruise at 18 knots, but is capable of almost twice that speed. The craft is designed around 27 aircraft seats, and was built to provide a new shuttle service between Portree and Gairloch. Sadly, the craft was not suitable for the sea crossing, so has been redeployed on the 23 mile long inland loch route instead.

She is spectacular at full power!
