Deutsch: Spielstraße: Bild 11 mit Zusatzschild, Stadt Bochum. Nach Vorschlägen der Bauverwaltung, des Schulamts und der Polizei wurden in einer Sitzung am 29. November 1949 insgesamt 21 Straßen in Bochum zu Spielstraßen erklärt. Der Grund hierfür war, daß sämtliche Kinderspielplätze im Krieg zerstört worden waren. Nach Beschwerden von Anwohnern, im Besonderen Bergleute in der Nachtschicht, die am Tag schlafen mußten, aber besonders auch durch einen Unfall mit einem Kind, bei dem die Stadt für die Behandlungskosten im Krankenhaus regreßpflichtig gemacht wurde wurde das Thema Spielstraßen um Haftungsschäden zu vermeiden im Oktober 1952 nochmals zum Thema. Von den 21 Spielstraßen wurden 12 aufgehoben. Zumeist, weil zu diesem Zeitpunkt in der Nähe zwischenzeitlich wieder Spielraum außerhalb der Straßen geschaffen worden war. Bei den verbliebenen Straßen wurde das Zusatzschild „Spielstraße“ entfernt und durch Vorsichtszeichen mit der Aufschrift „Spielende Kinder“ ersetzt. |
