Description
English: Portable sign at the entrance to the Speonk Trackside Cafe, which operates out of the former station house of Speonk (LIRR station), across the street from the current station which is nothing more than a high-level sheltered platform. Apparently, there are still those who don't believe the café is operational anymore, but this sign is an attempt to prove that it is. The restaurant was closing for lunch, just as I was about to drive in.
