| Description |
English: Spectacles. These circles represent a pair of spectacles, a square and heart are located nearby 811143.
My Paisley informant, Bob Greenfield, relates the story thus; These are supposed to represent a workman who fell off the high Church and was killed. They show where his hankie landed, where his specs landed and presumably by the heart, where he landed. Now to have landed where these symbols are, he must have had wings, but as they are symbolic I suppose poetic licence comes into it. |
