Description
English: Colonel Webb issued this special order directing Dr. Esther E. Leonard to report to duty at Base Hospital No. 115. Dr. Leonard served as a contract surgeon during World War I at the U.S. Army General Hospital No. 1 in New York City and at an evacuation hospital in Vichy, France.



Transcription:

HEADQUARTERS HOSPITAL CENTER A.P.O. 781. American E.F., France. Special Order No. 125. November 27, 1918. 10. Dr. E. C. Leonard, Contract Surgeon, United States Army, having reported at this station for duty in compliance with par 67, Special Order No. 324, GHQ, AEF, dated November 20, 1918, will report to the Commanding Officer, Base Hospital No. 115, this Station for assignment to duty.
