Summary

[edit]
Description
English: A basic slit spectroscope consists of a slit and a dispersive element, in this case a grating. Spatiospectral scanning is achieved by placing a camera at some non-zero distance behind the grating and moving the camera or the whole spectroscopic system along the direction of dispersion.
