English: The Sparlösa runestone (Vg 119, RAÄ-nr Sparlösa 13:1) is found at Sparlösa church in Sparlösa parish, Viste hundred, Vara municipality, Västergötland, Sweden. The runestone is made of gneiss and has an hight of 1.8 meter. The stone has carving on all four sides. This photo shows the eastern side depicting a building, two birds (maybe swans or cranes), a ship, hounds, and a rider.
Svenska: Runstenen Sparlösastenen (Vg 119, RAÄ-nr Sparlösa 13:1) är hittad vid Sparlösa kyrka, Sparlösa socken, Viste härad, Vara kommun, Västergötland, Sverige. Runstenen är i gnejs och är 1,8 meter hög. Den vikingatida runstenen har ristningar på fyra sidor. Bilden visar den nu östra sidan som avbildar en byggnad, två fåglar (kanske svanar eller tranor), ett skepp, hundar och en ryttare. |
