Description
English: A worn and clipped silver Spanish one reales 'pillars and waves' type cob. Struck at the colonial mint at Potosi in Bolivia during the reign of Philip 4th and dated 1658. The assayer mark is E (Antonio de Ergueta) and the weight is 2.5 grams. The obverse central field has two upright pillars with fleur type tops and waves formed by curved lines beneath them. There are two equidistant horizontal lines that cross the pillars forming nine squares.

The only visible obverse inscription is the date 1658.

The reverse has a cross with lions and castles in diagonally opposite quarters and surrounded by a broken double lined circle.
