Description Die Neustädter Hof- und Stadtkirche St. Johannis bekam im Jahr 2019 zusätzlich zur Spanischen Orgel von 2001 (s. auch Spanische Trompete eine neue Orgel (siehe Orgeln der Neustädter Kirche (Hannover)). Beide Orgeln stehen im Eigentum des Landes Niedersachsen, denn sie sind von Bund und Land je zur Hälfte finanzierte Instrumente zur Ausbildung von Studentinnen und Studenten des Studiengangs Kirchenmusik der Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover. Nach dem zwischen Land Niedersachsen und Kirchengemeinde geschlossenen Vertrag steht die 2019 entstandene Thomas-Orgel der Musikhochschule 40 Stunden in der Woche für die Ausbildung der Studierenden zur Verfügung. Die neue Orgel wurde am 26. Oktober 2019 von Orgelprofessor Emmanuel Le Divellec (Musikhochschule Hannover) mit einem reinen Programm von Orgelmusik von Johann Sebastian Bach der Öffentlichkeit vorgestellt.
