Rückseite: [P]OTOSI ANO 1652 EL PERV -/ IPH 6 / P - 8 - E / PLV-S - VL-TRA / E - 52 - P. Umschrift, im Feld die Säulen des Herkules, dazwischen Schrift.

Kommentar: Diese 8-Reales-Münzen zählen zu dem sogenannten Schiffsgeld (Macuquina), die in mexikanischen und südamerikanischen Münzstätten geschlagen wurden. Dieses Stück ist außerdem, wie so oft, gelocht. Per königlichem Münzdekret vom 17. Februar 1651 wurde ein neues Münzbild verordnet, jetzt sollte das viergeteilte Wappen auf der Vorderseite stehen (bisher Rückseite) und auf der Rückseite die Darstellung mit den Säulen des Herkules (siehe das alte Münzbild Objektnummer 18214111). Diese Ausprägungen begannen 1652. - 'P' steht für die Münzstätte Potosí und 'E' ist das Kürzel für den Edelmetallprüfer Ergueta.
