| Description |
English: This plate appliance has a screwed segment at the rear to re-distalize one or two molars which had migrated into the gap of a milk molar pulled too early. A good grip of this / these molar(s) is obtained by a simple wire frame with surrounding polymer. No need to bend special deep-grip clasps as shown in the inset in pink. But additional claspy elements in the frontal region are recommended. It is also important to proceed with screwing not too fast. If both sides require distalization, a lip bumper can be connected to the plate to relieve the frontal teeth from too much counter-force.
Deutsch: Eine halb zugewanderte Lücke eines vorzeitig gezogenen Milch-5ers lässt sich mit dieser Platte mit einem endständigen Schraubsegment allmählich zurückgewinnen. Statt mit kniffligen Spezialklammern (im rosa Ausschnitt) lassen sich die zu distalisierenden Zähne einfach mit Plastik greifen, das um einen Rahmen aus Draht modelliert wurde. Wird beidseitig Distalisierung benötigt, dann kann ein an der Platte angebrachter Lippenschild zusätzliche Gegenkraft aufnehmen. |
