English: In October 1962, modifications had just been completed in JPL's Space Flight Operations Center, located in Building 125, in preparation for the launch of Ranger 5.
This facility became obsolete after the construction of the larger and more technologically advanced Space Flight Operations Facility (SFOF) in building 230, which opened in May 1964. |
