Description
English: Striding off the aircraft that carried them to the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan for final pre-launch training, Expedition 40/41 Flight Engineer Alexander Gerst of the European Space Agency (left), Soyuz Commander Maxim Suraev of the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos, center) and NASA Flight Engineer Reid Wiseman prepare to greet Russian space officials in Baikonur May 15 who gathered for their arrival. Behind them is former cosmonaut Valery Korzun, now the Deputy Head of the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center in Star City, Russia. The three are scheduled to launch May 29, Kazakh time, in their Soyuz TMA-13M spacecraft from Baikonur for a 5 ½ month mission on the International Space Station.
