Description

This building is located on the southwest corner of 8th Street and Main Street in Miles City, Montana.

The building houses: The Light House Book & Bible Store and Hair Success in the front at 720 Main Street. It also houses Lincare Inc. in the back at 7 S. Eighth Street.

This location apparently housed Renwick Torgeson Drug at one time (1960's). The "Custer Club" bar was located in the basement (accessible via the brown door on the stairwell at the side of the building). I think at one time (1970's) the basement housed June's Beauty College.

Around 1970-ish, Western Pharmacy moved from across Main Street into the Renwick Torgeson Drug space.

I remember the main floor of this building being home to Thompson Rexall Drug in the 1970's, 1980's, and, I believe, into the early 1990's.
