Description
English: Southern Vectis 714 Alum Bay (TIL 6714, originally G714 WDL), a Leyland Olympian in Carvel Lane, Cowes (outside the Co-op), Isle of Wight, just after completing the 14:20 service 28 from Newport. The 14:20 was scheduled to be run by a double-decker, which was the only time a double-decker was scheduled to run to Cowes per day, with main route 1 being run with single-deck vehicles since the April 2006 network change. On arrival at Cowes, this journey returned back to Newport out of service, which the bus is seen doing, pulling away from the final stop. The usual practice of changing the blinds at the Park Gates stop (the stop before) had been done.
