| Description |
English: Southern Vectis 625 (K125 BUD), a Volvo B10B/Northern Counties Paladin, in Folly Lane at the Folly Inn, Whippingham, Isle of Wight, between duties on route 25. Route 25 is a new route started on 6 September 2010, running between East Cowes and Newport via Hawthorn Meadows (a new housing estate), Whippingham and the Folly Inn. It is funded by a developer. It also serves Hefford Road in East Cowes, bringing buses back to that area of East Cowes after route 4 was diverted away from the area from 5 April 2009. The route replaces the Newport - Folly Inn section of route 29 which was withdrawn as part of the September 2010 timetables changes. The driver and bus on route 25 have a 35 minute break at the Folly Inn at the time this photo was taken, which must be really boring for the driver as the location is in the middle of nowhere! Seen here it the bus laying over on its break. |
