Description
English: Prominent notices on Southern Vectis 614 Scratchells Bay (N14 WAL), a DAF DB250/Northern Counties Palatine 2, stating that the Isle of Wight Council had withdrawn free concessionary travel on the Island's tourist service. It was applied to all open top buses in the fleet and coaches used on the Island Coaster (which had its problems when the buses were used in normal service after the season ended). 614 was seen here at the Bustival event, Havenstreet, Isle of Wight, celebrating the 80th anniversary of Southern Vectis. This was the bus that overturned in the accident at Sandbanks in 2008, when with Wilts & Dorset.
