Description
English: Southern Vectis 300 (HW52 EPX), a Dennis Dart SLF/Plaxton Pointer 2 MPD, turning from Mill Hill Road into Bellevue Road, Cowes, Isle of Wight, on route 1. Due to Cowes Christmas Carnival, the centre of town was closed off meaning buses could not get to the Co-op or Red Jet. To divert, Park & Ride route 1s turned off Newport Road left into Mill Hill Road, left into Bellevue Road (seen here), left into Upper Moorgreen Road, right into Brooklands Road, and then left into Park Road, thereby picking up the Round House route and returning to Newport. The bus has since been moved and entered service with Wilts & Dorset in Salisbury in March 2010.
