| Description |
English: Southern Vectis 196 Atherfield Bay (HW52 EPV), a Volvo B7TL/Plaxton President, at the Co-op in Carvel Lane, Cowes, Isle of Wight, on route 1. Because it was Cowes Week at the time, route 1 was not serving the Red Jet terminal, meaning double-deckers could be used. It is surrounded by other buses. Behind it is a Wightbus Mercedes-Benz/UVG midibus on route 32, and on the left of the photo is a Southern Vectis Dennis Dart SLF/Plaxton Pointer 2 MPD, seen having a dispute with a Land Rover. (the Land Rover went into the bus stop turning circle, got stuck, and had to turn round to get out, and then came face to face with the Dart). |
