Description
English: Southern Vectis 195 Binnel Bay (HW52 EPU), a Volvo B7TL/Plaxton President, and 1114 Long Ledge (HW58 ATK), a Scania OmniCity, in Newport, Isle of Wight bus station, both on route 8. Due to high loadings and busy traffic, the operation of route 8 had gone to pieces on this day. It is meant to run every half an hour. However, seen here, 195 (the bus at the front) was leaving the bus station 25 minutes late according to the timetable. 1114 left on time, but almost immediately caught up with 195 by Coppins Bridge, and after managing to stop the other bus and speak to the driver in Furrlongs, it was decided to transfer all the passengers onto the front bus. It later turned out that 195 was actually running one hour behind the schedule its driver was on.
