Description
This is a picture of the Southern Hotel from the intersection of Main Street and South High Street, looking east. It opened in August of 1897. It housed 222 guest rooms. The Great Southern is the oldest surviving hotel in Columbus and is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. The hotel is now known as the Westin Hotel.
