Summary
[edit]DescriptionSouthern Hemisphere Sea Ice Extent Anomalies.png | Southern Hemisphere (Antarctic) Sea Ice Extent Anomalies for the month September: Ice extent anomalies are plotted as a time series of percent differences between the total extent for the month in question, and the mean for that month, where the mean is based on the January 1979 - December 2000 portion of the data set. The trend, in percent change per decade, is obtained using least squares regression, and a 95% confidence interval for the resulting slope is given. |

This graph image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with
{{vector version available|new image name}} .
It is recommended to name the SVG file “Southern Hemisphere Sea Ice Extent Anomalies.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter. |
