Description
English: South of Skidby, East Riding of Yorkshire, England.
A field of winter cabbage south of the track between Gallows Hill and Skidby Windmill. Sheep rustlers are said to have been hung at Gallows Hill during the reign of Charles II. The windmill built by Norman and Smithson of Hull in 1821 is Yorkshire's last working windmill and home to the Museum of East Riding Rural Life. http://www.eastriding.gov.uk/libraries/museums/museumsgalls.html
